    Charles married Elizabeth Vant on 13 February 1854 at Milton-next-Sittingbourne.

    In 1901 Charles was a pauper inmate in Milton Workhouse. Census records that he was a widower and a Ag LAb.

    Charles died in 1903 at Milton-next-Sittingbourne.

    Very few records fro Charles were found.

    In 1851 Charlotte and Joseph were living at Milton near Sittingbourne, Kent, Joseph was working on a Farm.

    In 1861 widowed Charlotte, 49 a launderess was living at Snakehole Lane, Westwell, Ashford, Kent with her widowed mother, Charlotte Vant, 76 who was a Higgler. The census records that Charlotte Tappenden was deaf.

    In 1881 Charlotte was a patient in the Kent County Lunatic Asylum at Chartham, Kent.

    In 1891 Charlotte was an inmate in the West Ashford Union Workhouse - Charlotte is again recorded as Deaf.

    Charlotte died in 1895 in the West Ashford RD Area, Kent.

    On 19 February 1837 she married James Vant in Westwell.

    In 1841 Charlotte was living in Westwell with James and their sons James, 5 John, 2 and William, 6 months.

    In 1851 James and Charlotte were living in Westwell with their 6 Children, John, 12 William, 10 Henry, 8 George, 6 Charles, 4 and Richard, 7

    In 1861 The family were living in Snakes Hole Lane, Westwell

    In 1871 Charlotte was living at Downs Cottage, Dunn Street, Westwell with husband James, Son Richard, 22 and Grandson Henry, 4

    No trace of the family in 1991 and later Census

    Charlotte died on 27 October 1873 in Westwell
    The inscription on her gravestone reads:

    "Charlotte wife of James VANT, 27th October 1873 aged 64, leaving issue
    six sons and one daughter: James, John, William, George, Charles,

    228 Charlotte was born in 1815 in Ospringe. She was baptised on 14 March 1815 in St Peter & St Paul's Church, Ospringe.

    It is possible that Charlotte died in 1864 in Faversham or she could have married. I have found no evidence of her marrying in her home rown - she could have married in her spouse's parish.

    In 1911 widowed Charlotte was living at 1 Gough Road, Sandgate with her Brother in Law Fred Vant, 63 a Wheelwright..

    Charlotte died in 1914 aged 71 in the Elham RD area.

    Christopher moved to London sometime before his marriage.

    Banns for the marriage of Christopher and Eleanor were read on 10 July 1842 at St Mary's Church, Lambeth.

    Christopher married Eleanor Lourie on 31 July 1842 at St Martin in The Fields, London, Christopher was a bachelor and Eleanor was a spinster.

    In 1851 Christopher, Eleanor & family were living in Limehouse, Stepney, London. Also living in the house were Christopher's nephew, James Trimming, 15 and Henry Rutter, 20 Apprentice.

    In 1861 Christopher, Eleanor and family were living at 33 Assembly Mews, Mile End, Old Town, London.

    In 1871 Christopher, Eleanor & family were living at 5 Burdell Road, Mile End, London. Christopher was now a Master Tailor.

    In 1881 Christopher and Eleanor had moved to 19 Grove Villas, West Ham, Essex, Also living in the house were their daughter Mary 22 and Frances M Delacourt, a Boarder and School Teacher.

    Eleanor died in 1882 in West Ham, Essex.

    Widower Christopher [of 72 Edenfield Road] married again to Sarah Tressey, spinster [John's, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire]. Banns were read on three Sundays, 26th November, 3rd December and 10th December 1882 at All Saints Church, Clapton Park, Hackney.

    In 1889 Christopher was recorded as living at 59 St Kildas Road, Hackney, London.

    In 1890 Christopher was recorded as living at 32 Glenarm Road, Hackney, London.

    In 1891, 1892 & 1893 Christopher was recorded as living at 52 Median Road, Hackney South, London.
